my dog has had an inflatable cone for a few months now (almost non-stop) and doesn't seem to mind much. He seems to make him snore by resting his neck on him like a pillow to help him sleep. And when the velcro runs under his neck, it's flexible enough to get to the spots we need to avoid. So we need to keep an eye on the cone to make sure the strap is on his neck and not under his chin. To do this, we have to rotate it several times a day. But overall, it's a better long-term option for him than an actual Kegel. And the fabric is washable, which is nice when it gets dirty.
