Released an update on this purchase. I was pleased that Revain kindly addressed the lack of packaging, they refunded me for the purchase of this defective item with no hassle! Thank you Revain! Five stars in Revain customer service! Very dissatisfied, poor quality. This morning I went to make yogurt and found that the mercury had broken down a lot as it got warmer. Because of the many lines and spaces, it is impossible to tell what the actual temperature is. To make yogurt, I only heat milk to 180 degrees Fahrenheit! Very low on the heat scale for this item's supposed abilities. So now I'm stuck with a broken part. Because I never kept the packaging as I didn't buy it to send back and I never thought it would be a broken new one! I recommend. Don't buy that, you'll find something of better quality, and it's probably best to find something that isn't made in China. I attach photos.
