I bring my laptop to my office from my home office and this stand packs up quickly and easily. The carrying case that it comes in is very handy for protecting my laptop and other items in my briefcase. There are many height adjustment holes to find the perfect comfort for your wrists when typing. However, the stand doesn't interfere with my touchpad, I have large hands, and the two small "curved" parts of the stand that hold the laptop in place bother my palms.
