My 4 year old was immediately smitten with it as soon as she opened the box. All of the items in the kit can be opened.The mascara is so realistic. The nail polish opens, and the top has a little wand brush,just like the real thing. The makeup pallets all open, but the "powder" inside does not move or spill out. There is a glitter pallet and none of the glitter moves or gets on your hands. The colors are all so vibrant and her imagination can just run wild. The lipstick tubes can be spun up to reveal the lip stick inside, but the lipstick is made of a rubber material and it is pretend as well. Love how they made everything functional, but still pretend. My favorite part is that it ispretend.! I don't have to worry about her spilling nail polish, pouring out powder or getting lipstick everywhere. It also comes with the cool sunglasses ,crowns , necklace,earring and cutest little pink makeup bag. I love this kit .I'm really happy about this purchase!
