Just charged and used for the first time. I have other trimmers with staggered guides, but they tend to pull my hair out of my face when I'm moving fast. sometimes even when I don't. Offset doesn't appear to be disabled for cleanup, but it seems to be working. There is no UL plug in the box. It only comes with a USB port, which the manufacturer makes cheaper. But the trimmer block convinced me. I can't comment on the battery life as I only charged it once. I'll give it a 4, but Gum gets a 5 pretty easily. A few months later I've upped my rating to five stars because every aspect of this little gem is truly amazing. The battery is good. I want to charge it twice, but I used it almost every day for three months. Very happy with it. What's really amazing is how smooth it is on my skin. He doesn't tear. I have thick eyebrows and trimming has always been a problem. No more problems with this hair clipper.
