I bought a Hudson Hi-Fi Turntable Phonograph LP Phono Cartridge Stylus Alignment Mirrored Protractor (V2) to set up my vintage turntable and a new AT150MLX cartridge. I have used many leveling tools over the years and this one is excellent. If you are a music lover with expensive gear and want perfect stylus tracking and alignment, then just buy one of these. How: First set the protrusion of the needle and make sure it is correct. Then simply slide the protractor onto the record spindle, mount the tonearm cartridge over the outermost grille on the mirror protractor. Adjust the position of the cartridge to ensure the cartridge is close to the grid lines (centered with the needle on the bullseye), then check with the innermost grid of the protractor. Continue making minor adjustments until the arm/cartridge is as perfect as possible. Easy and takes 5 minutes.
