Unlimited Wide Angle, Fully Functional S-Pen: Finally a wallet that works

2 Year Update: This case has endured over two years of daily use.1. There is a thin strip running along the edges of the case that I believe connects the interior and exterior panels and has started to peel away in two places. The adhesive holding the TPU screen protector to the case itself didn't work in several places, but I used adhesive to secure it. Overall, this is about what I would expect from a phone case. So I order another one as a replacement. I switched to this case after being disappointed with a similar product on the market, the Olixar Leather Wallet Case. Although FYY and Olixar cases are similar in looks, features, and price, there are some key differences between the two that I believe make FYY a superior product.1. Cost: Both were $25, which I think is a bit overpriced for what you get, but much more expensive for the Olixar (see below). Magnetic Closure: Both use magnets to keep the lid closed, the FYY mechanism is a much better design. It is divided into two tabs, one attached to the lid and the other to the body. When you close the case they connect themselves along the side edge of the case/phone and if you want it to stay open just flip the cover all the way back and they connect in reverse order. While the Olixar case uses a single long pull tab that you have to manually fold over the front cover to close, fold back to open, and then fold all the way back to stay tucked away, when you want to fully open the case. Body - it's clumsy compared to FYY. Most importantly, the FYY design allows the magnet mechanism NOT to interfere with using the S Pen as there are no magnets on the lid or back cover, they are located entirely on the ribs, away from the screen. Whereas the Olixar has a quarter-size magnet implanted in the back cover (to hold the tab open) that's about halfway down the right side of the phone, creating a huge dead zone where no S-gesture stylus is recognized . 3. Cutouts: The cutouts in both cases are precise and do not interfere with the charging port, microphones or speakers. The S Pen cutout on the FYY case is a little more contoured to allow for slightly easier access to the S Pen itself, but its larger cutout can make that corner more susceptible to damage if the phone is dropped there, so I prefer that Olixar Design in terms of protection. . However, Olixar makes a big mistake with the rear camera notch, as it partially obscures the Note 10+'s wide-angle lens and creates a half-vignetting effect on the left side of photos taken at full wide-angle. In the case of FYY, there is no such problem.4. Wallet Slots: The Olixar was perfect with 3 card slots and one for ID. The FYY case only has two slots and one for ID, which forces me to put a card/ID in the money slot, which I don't like. The FYY case has plenty of room for another card slot and the extra bulk shouldn't get in the way of keeping the case closed as this isn't an issue at all in the Olixar case. Material: The leather of the Olixar case feels dry and a little cheap, while the FYY case feels more flexible and smooth. I'm not a leather expert, so I'm not sure if one is "better" than the other, but FYY leather feels and smells a lot better. 6. Packaging: The difference in packaging was amazing. The $25 Olixar case came in a plastic bag with a foam liner, desiccant, and some marketing material. The FYY case also had marketing material but not one but two bags of desiccant, cellophane and then it was all in a very thick cardboard box with their logo and some basic information about the company. One of these companies appears to be much stronger at showcasing their product than the other. Overall, I'm glad I finally have a functional case for my N10P, but I've sacrificed a bit of comfort (lack of card slot) and protection (large S Pen cutout) for functionality.
