Depends On What Kind Of Feet You Have

Whether you will like these slippers really depends on your feet. I was disappointed and I'm returning them. I should quickly explain my situation. I'm elderly. I have wide feet as they have flattened out over the past few years. I also have a condition called Morton's Neuroma and also Neuropathy in my left foot so shoes can be my worst nightmare. I usually wear Men's Isotoner Microterry Slip on Slippers instead of regular shoes around the house and when I go out. I saw these and thought they might be cozy to wear around the house without socks so decided to give them a try. They were really cute and sounded comfy.I read the reviews for these slippers and noted that many said they ran small so I ordered two sizes larger. I wear an 8 1/2 - 9 in the Isotoners so went with a size 10 in these. When they arrived I immediately tried them on and then immediately repackaged them for return. They run REALLY small. Size 10 was too small for me. It was actually hard to get them on. The width wasn't so much the problem. They were just small all over. Now here's where I say it depends on your feet. Yes, no matter what kind of feet you have.narrow, wide, slender, chubby, order at least a size or two larger than you normally wear. If you have, what I'll call average width feet, expect that the slippers will feel a little tight when you put them on. When you put them on and then stand on them you'll feel the tightness but you'll note that part of the tightness is due to the cushioning all around. There is cushioning on the sides as well as the sole. I strongly feel that these slippers would quickly loosen up with daily wear. The cushioning would flatten out a little. I can't say how much but I'm sure there would be a breaking in period.Bottom line is, if I had normal feet that were average or narrow width, I think these might have been comfortable after a short breaking in period. I definitely would have given them a chance. If you have any foot problems, pass these up. If you've got normal feet order a size larger and give them a try if you so desire. You do have the option of returning them for a full refund, which is what I'm doing.

Pros
  • Affordable price point for a high-quality slipper
Cons
  • The slipper's color options may not be suitable for those with specific color preferences
