It was easy to replace, just like the original factory unit. 7Magic provides instructions on the packaging what to do if your Brother printer does not recognize a new photoconductor. The reset process is simple and takes no more than three minutes. Print quality after replacement is as good as new. I would highly recommend these items to anyone (I don't work for 7Magic and hadn't even heard of it until I started looking here for replacement drum kits). We took a risk.
