Sturdy mounts for our 40lb Heavy Duty Microwave

We have a large 1.6 cu ft Panasonic microwave (approximately 22" x 20" x 12") that weighs nearly 40 pounds and these brackets hold them perfectly counters! It's been about 2 months now and we use the microwave many times a day.No problems,it's holding up great no sagging or anything.Don't slip and keep the heavy microwave right where we do put it down No slipping - it didn't move at all, has probably been used hundreds of times Very quick, easy and simple fix You should know what the underside of your microwave looks like - we have all sorts of obstacles we had to avoid , so we couldn't place them the same distance from each side of the microwave What to compensate for one side being heavier than the other (it has the bracket on the left pulled harder due to the slightly extra weight on that side), we just put thicker bumpers under the heavier side to give it some extra buoyancy, so now it looks level. To solve our own problem of wanting to use this in a corner, we made some spacers out of scrap wood so we had a solid surface parallel to the back of the microwave to attach the brackets to (photo attached). This is a great solution for keeping the microwave in the corner we're used to. , green and meaty kitchen for another day, but we are not ready for a real remodeling of the kitchen - the exchange of appliances was not allowed. But then of course our microwave died and we had to buy a new one to survive, which turned out to be a lot bigger than our old one. It really makes a limited workspace more spacious and it's now very easy to clean under and around the microwave. win/win Overall these brackets are SUPER STRONG, well made and if they can hold our huge microwave I'm sure they can hold almost any microwave. And if you're mounting it on an existing wall instead of a corner, the installation is a lot simpler and easier than what we had to do for our particular corner mount (but I just wanted to let people know it's possible too). . We are very satisfied with them and recommend them to others. I hope this helps you make a better decision!
