Useful for things other than the slow cooker.

My husband uses it to make homemade moonshine. I use it to make jam and sweets. Take her temperature. This is a decent product but it needs to be protected when you put it in your e-juice. By "place" I mean "add carefully", roll over when you do so. Rapid cooking can also cause the thermometer to drift. The thermometer appears to be fairly accurate in terms of temperature. I wash and dry the thermometer carefully by hand. seems reasonably well made and has proven to be a useful if somewhat finicky little gadget.
