Easy to use. Velcro worked well. Continuous. Lights are useful, although not like a flashlight. For me, this is primarily a security feature. It's nice not having to carry a separate flashlight with all the other things you can juggle when walking your dog. Removing the battery cover was a challenge. I have osteoarthritis in my hands. I had to pry it open with a screwdriver and luckily it didn't break. Eventually it bent/loosened a bit and I was able to pull it out. I don't know what killed him 2 1/2 years later. It was stored in an unheated garage and was thus exposed to both frost and heat. I plan on ordering another one if I can't find a better clip-on light.
