These are quality shirts made from a good, medium weight fabric that is soft to the touch and washes well without fading, pilling or noticeable shrinkage. My son was happy because he spilled something on his other black long-sleeved shirt the other day and he really appreciates such a good basic piece. The only thing that's a bit odd about the shirts is that they're a little wider and a little shorter. . My son is usually of average height but these large ones fit him quite well as the torso length is a bit shorter than other brands. I find this surprising because the kids pants we had were long and big so it's a bit odd that these shirts fit like the brand caters to smaller, wider kids. The difference in shape isn't too big though and I think they should fit him without exposing his tummy even when he's grown up.
