First off, let me say that I didn't use an "applepen". I bought this first before spending $150 on the Apple version. So far I am very impressed with this quality. I don't know how the Apple version can be so much better than this one. The only issue I had is how sensitive the on/off button is. I accidentally hit it all the time, but it's not that big of a deal. It is very convenient that it is put on the top of the iPad. I have a new 2021 12.9" Pro version, not sure if that matters. Like I said, I want the power button to be a button that needs to be pressed, not a "Touch" version. If you are trying to save over $100,I would highly recommend this pencil.I am buying another one for my girlfriend and sister, and after buying three I still have less overall issued as 1 Apple Pencil.
