Review on Vizio SB3621N E8 Channel Soundbar System by Alison Parker

I have had this product since September 2017. I have had no problems with it until recently. The soundbar turns itself off and back on automatically Fix this, I have to either (1) unplug it for 5 seconds and plug it back in, or (2) it automatically turns itself back on after about 5-10 minutes and then back off again for about 15 minutes. I have tried updating the firmware, using different connections/cables (AUX, Bluetooth and other optical cables), performing a hard reset and disabling ECO mode. Nothing helps. After looking at a number of websites, posts and reviews it turned out that this is a common problem with Vizio soundbar products and is not unique to this line of products. That's why I advise against buying Vizio soundbars. To me something like this should last longer than it has shown under normal conditions (it just sat under the TV making sound). I've had speakers that lasted longer than this system. If anyone (Vizio) has a worthwhile suggestion to try and get it working let me know and I'll be ready to improve my score. On the plus side, the soundbar and subwoofer were very easy to set up, it was basically plug and play. The only really confusing part was figuring out which combinations of LED bulbs meant what, but that's what the guide is for. As for the important part, sound quality and base. It does its job, there was no weird distortion in high or low frequencies. If you expect clarity like a high-end soundbar, you won't get it with this unit.
