This dog gate is exactly what I have been looking for. I have a very large opening to my formal living and dining area. I have two smaller dogs that love to play in that area for some reason. My main objection is that they jump on the cloth sofa to take a nap. This gate is so wide that if I put two of them together it will block the whole area. They have not tried to jump on the gate yet, but I think the two feet on each gate will keep it from falling down on them. I was so pleased when I opened the box to see that the panels had already been assembled. All I had to do is stand it up and it was ready to go. There is some hardware included so that you can lock the gate but I haven’t had to do that yet. It seems like just the barrier is enough to keep my dogs out. The gate is very well made and painted. I got the white and I think it looks very nice. I don’t know how effective the gate would be for larger and heavier dogs, but I am very pleased with how well it works with my smaller dogs.
