Double layer covers. for preserving
Cans are good, layered lids. Use your brand's wide lids with them. The lids I received were not branded (both Mason & Ball use stamps on their lids so they were clearly unbranded) and warped when processed in a can of boiling water. I machined them along the side brand lids and those lids were fine. Going forward I will only buy these jars on sale to offset the cost of purchasing additional lids.
