I bought these to get something other than traditional Christmas lights and I got exactly what I expected. It took me a while to figure out how to transfer and lengthen each drop, but after making one strand the other three went much smoother. The only "complaint" is that I have two two-strand chains, each plugged into separate outlets, that sync the lights. The implications are complex. two people are required. It would also be helpful if 8 different settings could be seen on the controller. It's difficult to resync them if you get lost in the different options. :-)
