An excellent replacement for whale 18-55. Opinions about the soapiness of the lens, in my opinion, should be attributed to the inexperience of the user or the use of the lens for other purposes. Opinions about the vacuum cleaner and vulnerabilities have nothing to do with reality - for 8 months there have been no problems. The rule "take off the lens, close it with caps and carry it in a clean case" is 100% saved. In my opinion, this is the best of what Nikon offers in the economy line.
- Quality lens for a very reasonable price. Even the stabilizer got into this top ten. Covers the most running corners. 18-105 allows you to shoot both indoors and outdoors. Ideal for everyday carrying camera. Sharp. Fast Minimum distortion. Unlike the whale stub, it really works. Non-rotatable front lens - it is convenient to work with linear polarization filters and gradient filters.
- A small lens hood - but you canβt get away with it - 18 mm is obligatory. Plastic mount (I donβt see anything wrong with it myself.)
