I've had this USB hub for 6 months and it worked great when I first plugged everything in. I had no problems until 3 months when I had to restart my computer, the USB cam (Microsoft Life Cam) was not working. Upon further investigation, the camera would not communicate with the USB hub it had been working with for 3 months. After moving some USB devices to the back of the PC and restarting, everything (keyboard, mouse, camera) worked again. Now 6 months later the PC lost power or restarted and again the PC does not recognize the camera through the USB hub. (explore = restart, move things, etc.) When I plug the camera into the PC's USB port, the PC recognizes the camera immediately. So this is NOT a camera. All in all I'm happy with this thing as long as it works. However, be careful if you plan to use this to get the camera to work and your computer restarts or loses power.
