Surprisingly, it washes off mascara easily. Smells amazing, a great way to quickly get through an evening routine. I use some rhubarb scrub powder when I shower to get the exfoliation and cleansing at the same time. That, toner, serum, eye cream and moisturizer and boom - a ready scented treat before bed!
