Ideal for any number of caps, mixed metals. This tool is great. The hook seems stiff enough for normal abuse. The rubber mallet is soft enough not to damage or dent the cap provided you hit it hard enough to install it. There's no need to bang the cap to death! The handle is comparable to a large screwdriver, a normal plastic handle. I used a similar tool while working in a shop 30 years ago and it seems very similar. Maybe the handle has a slightly different shape, but the hook and hammer are about the same. It works exactly the same.
