Intermittent failures for a month
Worked flawlessly for several weeks. Then my phone line stopped working so I called my service provider (Verizon) who offered to send a technician over, but before they arrived the problem was mysteriously resolved. A few weeks later same problem but this time I reinstalled my old phone cord and the problem was gone. Tried this new one and the phones stopped working. Put the old one back in and everything worked. It is clear that the telephone cable received was defective. And of course the return window is closed.
