Review on πŸ–₯️ Antec VSK2000 U3 Slim Desktop Micro by Steven Asthana

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice, sturdy case for big mobos, but smaller.

I love this case and have already ordered another one. It's small enough to fit in places where only matte cases are currently used. It has enough slots for a DVD burner, a memory card reader, and an optional USB 3 header [yes, some of us still use those cryptic I/O devices]. Things are coming and the system is running pretty fast; for me it is extremely important. Now here's what you need to know to be successful. Before setting up your mobile phone, start with some preparations. 1] Pull the front cover forward enough for it to work [it is held in place by 6 pins. Push and push – release. Don't force it. Note that the front panel is not fully removable due to the front connector wiring.2] Remove the metal plates from the slots you intend to use and the corresponding black plastic plates on the front panel.3] Screw in the intake fan if you intend to do this to use it indoors corps. Although it is inside the case, the holes for its attachment are in the front, behind the removed panel. Be sure to position the fan to draw in air, as the pre-installed fan on the back of the case will push air out.4] Reattach the front panel.5] Pull out any metal plates from the slots you intend to use expansion cards. They are very difficult to remove when a mobile device is already installed.>>> It sounds more complicated than it is, but I do these preliminary steps when building a system. It won't take long, but it's more important in this case than in other cases. You are now ready to mount your mobo.6] If you have a full size ATX board you will need three additional mobo stands (you can try using these including white nylon screwless stands but I recommend adding regular brass stands if you have or can get them 7] plan your cable runs to make sure they don't interfere with fans or airflow like others i found the wiring tricky but doable with planning and zip ties [not too tight] my builds here aren't High-end - both low-power [350W] and standard-size ATX Mobo, RAM and APU + 92mm cooler One is an am4 x570 furniture and the other is a legacy Intel x97 furniture This case is not only small , but also looks good No flash, just looks stylish and solid, which suits me.
