Review on Hydronix ICF 10Q38 Inline Coconut Connect by Loren Jacobson

I just installed an APEC ROES-50 reverse osmosis filtration system and changed the 5th stage filter from 1/4" to 3/8" " upgraded. to improve the flow rate between the water tank and the faucet. This filter works great and the price was very good. A few quick notes on my purchase from iFilters. * The filter was very well packaged - shrink wrapped - double bubble wrapped two different densities* Filter I ordered: Hydronix ICF-10Q38 - comes with 3/8" quick connect in/out ports* Filter I received have: Hydronix ICF-10 - comes with 1/4" FNPT in/out (female) - Includes 1/4" FNPT to 3/8" quick disconnect adapters on each in/out port. I have to wonder if these adapters create a bottleneck restriction on water flow when inlet/outlet ports are fed through 3/8" hoses? However, I am completely satisfied with the water flow rate from the faucet. After the initial installation of the reverse osmosis system along with With this filter polisher, the TDS meter will indicate that the filtered water is 30ppm compared to the inlet tap Water greater than 400ppm.
