Excellent device. It's much better than its predecessor which broke: 1) It's a solid device (ie very durable) that can be used on a motorcycle without any problems. 2) It is portable. I mean I can put it on before a ride and take it off afterwards without fear of breaking anything or stripping the threads on the handlebar mount clamp. Therefore, it should not be left with the bike in the garage where its metal parts can corrode. 3) Ball joint design connecting the mounting clip to the phone holder makes it easier to position the phone faceplate. One tightening keeps the phone secure. There are a few points to consider. My cell phone is the Samsung Galaxy S22. This device was designed for this and possibly some other phones (sorry I forgot). The phone's horizontal clips are positioned so that they don't interfere with the phone's "active buttons". My S22, protected by a rubbery (or maybe rubberized) case, is pretty thin. The vertical and horizontal phone clips can accommodate a much thicker phone/case assembly. At first the phone vibrated when driving, but I quickly learned to position the phone for a secure grip. As I said, this is a great device. I suspect it will last for many years, but I can't say at the moment. Of course, there's bad news too... it's expensive! In my opinion you get what you pay for so it's worth it.
