Review on Enhance your Car Audio with Alpine Electronics 🚗 PWE-S8 Restyle Compact Powered 8-Inch Subwoofer in Sleek Black Design by Brett Kolpack

I've worked in an electronics store selling and installing car audio systems for over 20 years and only recently decided to upgrade my 2017 4runner so it's been a long time. Since I don't have time to go to regular stores and audition, I chose a reliable brand that I always turn to. I can't compare myself to other brands but I can say that this Alpine device exceeded all my expectations. This unit delivers really tight and clean bass and has just enough heartbeat for my in-car enjoyment. As many reviewers have repeatedly said, don't compare it to dedicated 10/12 inch boxes with separate amps. This unit fits perfectly under the driver's seat and produces a powerful rumble that you can feel. As with most upgrades, results can vary by build and my review is based on a full upgrade that includes the main unit, a separate amplifier driving the front and rear speakers, with Alpine adding bass. Alpine impresses me as always and I expect the same quality as other Alpine products including the single din head unit I have in my 1999 Lexus GS which is 15 years old.
