We wanted to compost without too many chemicals and they fitted the bill perfectly. We end up using lots of poop wipes (usually 4-5) and one for peeing. They can be painful to pull out, sometimes pulling out several at once. We just stuff them back in and it's not a problem for us, but if you're looking for perfectly coordinated towels, this isn't for you. They stay moist. We order them by the box and they don't dry out before or after opening (within reason). I also thought they smelled a little funny when we first got them. Nice, just a weird smell. Now I don't even notice it anymore. Overall a quality napkin for our needs.
