Opened it up in a few minutes. Fits perfectly in mine.

In a few minutes. Fits perfectly in my 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ (with 99 inlet, same thread type). I cleared the check engine light with a scanner (this can also be done by disconnecting the battery cables for a long time) and months later it has not returned.
