My 8 week old hedgehog didn't fit in this one. She was so upset that I put her in there that she turned into a ball and made all sorts of noises. I couldn't believe they said I could put her in there and she wasn't even fully grown yet. Well, if she can get something better, this one, and I'll send it back. I would think twice before buying this for your hedgehog. If you want them to be unable to move, you've found what you need. But for my baby I want him to be able to curl up and be as comfortable as possible. Therefore, I ask you to buy it for small animals, but not for a hedgehog.
