I bought 2 glitter cases for 2 different people. My 8 year old grandniece and my 23 year old niece. Both LOVE these opportunities! They are not embroidered with sequins. Patchwork denim with square necklines and ripped edges. Each rectangle contains blue (slightly turquoise) large glitter particles that are glued on. I find the shine quite durable. Sticks well. We didn't see a lot of loose glitter floating around. The inside is very nice with an elastic slot for ANY pencil (requirement). There are also rubber bands for a small sharpener or eraser. The boards that the rubber band is attached to are made of hard gray plastic. Very durable. The seam seems strong. I just would like at least 150 pens (preferably 175!)! I've attached photos to this review and wish they showed the actual "bling" of the glittery embellishments that are all over the cover (front, back and spine). Any girl who loves crayons and glitter will LOVE this pencil case!
