I was a bit surprised when this package arrived from Revain as I don't remember ordering something so small. but apparently i did lol. This dappen dish is SMALL. I've included a picture of a Blistex pocket tube above it for scale, as well as a picture of a record in my (very small) hand. Luckily the size is just right for me as I only need to hold enough acetone to dip my brush in to fix nail polish mistakes. A long time ago I had the very unfortunate idea of pouring some acetone into a Solo beaker so I can dip my brush in it over and over again without contaminating the whole bottle of acetone with nail polish. Well, the acetone corroded the Solo mug and the paintwork of the dresser it stood on in just a few seconds. Always use glass! In any case, this dish is perfect for this purpose. However, if you try to use it with a standard acrylic nail brush (and enough product to pick up with that brush), you probably won't be as happy with the size. The lid is pretty flimsy and loose, and the only thing it really does is keep the strong smell of acetone off the plate. But it does the job for less than $5, so I can't complain.
