Review on ๐ŸŒฎ Hamilton Beach 25409 Quesadilla Maker: Crafting Perfectly Crispy Mexican Delights Made Easy! by Amy Fenner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Simple but functional

Here you get what you pay for; It does its job, but nothing more. Let me get into that. First, he uses so-called medium taco shells. Less is not an option, more is fine, but could interfere with the locking mechanism. You have to press on the top until the latch snaps into place and although it makes 6 wedges it doesn't cut them for you, you need something like a pizza cutter for that. Probably the biggest "budget" about it is that it stays on as long as it's plugged in; There's no power button, it doesn't turn off automatically when your quesadilla is done, there's a little green light that lights up when it reaches a certain temperature, and then you have to unplug the unit. There is no audible sign of this other than a fairly faint "click" sound, so keep a close eye on it. It's pretty fast, but still a bit uncomfortable. For the price, though, it's not bad considering these things.
