This is a great no assembly, except you with be twisting the casters in on arrival, light to medium duty shelves. The metal is fairly thin, so you won't want to place a heavy item with a small footprint in the center where the shelves fold, otherwise it bows down. I'm storing bulk paper products i get at a warehouse stores and other kitchen items on it. This way I have somewhere to place these multi pack products when new, and then transfer them to my regular cabinets when I get low, then fold the shelf up and store out of the way. The casters it comes with are bad, the hard plastic wheels are shorter than the twist lock, so the lock in the full unlock position drags on my hard floors marring them. I considered cutting off some of the excess twist lock, but it wasn't worth the effort, so instead I went to the hardware store and spent another $20 to get quality beariing type casters with a foot press type lock. Now it glides effortlessly over the floors without damaging them. Another thing you should know, there is a locking latch on the back, which keeps the unit from folding up when you don't want it to. This sticks another 2" off the back, so you'll need to keep that in mind when measuring your space and know it won't sit flush against the wall. it also allows smaller items to be pushed off the back of the shelves. With a couple of improvements, add a small lip on the back of the shelves, and definitely add better casters this could easily be 5 stars if you're Aware of not placing heavy items with a small footprint in the middle.Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!
