it's definitely a good price as it's usually a lot more expensive at the pharmacy. I removed one star because I feel they have changed their formula over the years. It was originally intended to be used in the hair after parties to remove the smell of smoke etc. from the hair. It has a great scent and I use it as a top coat from mid-lengths to ends to separate the hair and add shine. I also curl my ends after using it which makes my not-so-curly hair look frizzy. This is one of the few products that my hair can't do without. I've been using it for two decades now. For the record, I have very long thick hair and it definitely smooths my hair and makes it less frizzy. It's great when the hair looks the second day. All around one of my favorite products
