I absolutely hate traditional belts. They tend to wear out because you have to bend them to get the needle through your belt and they are difficult to put on. These military style belts are a lifesaver because they are super adjustable and quick to put on and take off. But this didn't work for me at all. The mechanism that was supposed to clip the belt and hold it in place didn't work, and simply walking caused the belt to come loose. A lot of this has to do with not wearing a belt *over* my femur. If I pulled my pants up further and slung the belt across my hips, the increased radius of the hip bones as I pulled the pants on would be enough to hold the tension and the belt would not fall off. But wearing the belt in a natural position, if my pants even start to slip, the *decreasing* radius of my femurs causes the belt to have enough slack for the pin to come loose, which of course is a vicious cycle, given mine Pants because the belt is loose, falls down more. I like the Grip6 belt much better which doesn't loosen if I don't want it to. The Grip6 is harder to put on but much safer.
