I have chickens. I add this in small amounts to hold the lining to avoid mistakes. Leave it on to keep the hens healthy and the eggs clean. I put something in their dust baths to make the mites uncomfortable. I live in Florida, we have fire ants. Adding diatomaceous earth to anthills causes them to walk, unfortunately not far enough.
