Review on Cute Portable Cartoon Mini Desktop Vacuum Cleaner for Desk Dust (Black) by Clarence Calcara

This product has worked well for about a week. I kept it on my desk to pick up small crumbs, eraser shavings, etc. Last night I was startled by a loud, high-pitched grinding noise. Upon entering the room, I smelled smoke and realized my cat dropped this device from the table (about 3 feet high) onto the carpet. I assume the fall somehow turned the unit on and messed something up in the circuitry? I removed the cover and found the engine smoking and the batteries incandescent as I quickly went to remove them. I understand that this product should not be dropped on the floor but I must warn other customers of the potential fire hazard. I'm thankful I wasn't sleeping when this all happened.
