Review on 💧 Enhanced Filtration Remineralization System - iSpring RCC7P AK Performance by Jason Glass

First let me say that we have had this RCC7P-AK unit (with booster pump and remineralization cartridge) for a month, the water tastes good and the unit is working well. I gave it 4 stars because some parts were missing (a couple of hose clamps and a water alarm) and there was a small drip from the faucet. Make sure all of your hoses have clamps or they may come loose and leak. Josh from support was great and sent everything straight away. He even made sure everything was delivered and working. So here are some things I think are important as I do my research: We are a family of 4 with 2 dogs and a chameleon. We use water for drinking, cooking, nebulizing systems, and washing fruits and vegetables. I would recommend getting a booster pump. We have city water and it flows at an average speed, but the pump drains the water faster and takes less time to fill up. I don't know how slow it would be without it, but I'm glad I spent the extra money to enable it. We also opted for a remineralization cartridge. I've read mixed reviews about whether or not they're needed, but figured it couldn't hurt. Note that this will increase your ppm. We have about 33 parts per million. Before RO it was 329-380. What's scary is that our non-reverse osmosis fridge filter is 250. Not much better than tap water. The PH before RO was about 8 and after RO was PH 10. It took about an hour to install and my husband said it was pretty easy. On a note. One of the filters has 2 different ends and we didn't know which was up or down. Josh told us it should be on the package. So if like us you're tearing things apart and thinking it's just a sterile bag, you're missing out. It takes up a lot of space under the sink (see photo). So if you use it as storage, be prepared to move your belongings around. The faucet can be rotated easily (see photo) which is good as you can place the coffee pot on the counter to fill it instead of holding it. Otherwise, we think it's a glass of water over the sink. I'll try to update this review when it's time to change the filters.
