Product differs from advertised image

I liked the original Acure brand. Unfortunately, Mega Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner has recently been reformulated. The original product (great formula, it's practically a fruit smoothie, the ingredient list is so "clean") is featured in this product post, which is why I bought it. A new product (simplified formula with cheap chemicals) was sent to me. To give you an idea of the EXTENDED difference between these two products, I looked at the ingredients list. For those who don't know, the ingredients are listed in descending order from highest concentration to lowest. The first nine ingredients of the original shampoo are: water, aloe, acai extract, blackberry extract, rosehip extract, pomegranate extract, calendula extract, chamomile extract, rooibos extract. The first nine ingredients in the new shampoo include (copied from the Acure website, because who has time to type out those long, nasty, unpronounceable chemicals): AQUA (WATER/EAU), COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, SODIUM LAUROYL METHYL ISTHIONATE, BETAINE, GLYCERIN, COCOGLUCOSIDES HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, ALOE BARBADIC LEAF JUICE*, ARGANIA SPINOSA SEED OIL*, CUCURBITA PEPO (PUMPKIN) SEED OIL. I wouldn't even consider it a restatement. This is a brand new product. I'm confused that Acure tried to pass this off to loyal consumers as the same product. I will never buy another Acure product again. Additionally, the photos in this listing need to be updated to the correct product. I returned these products as they did not match what was shown in the listing.

  • So far so good
Cons
