It takes a little practice to understand that different vegetables require different pressures for this Oxo Julienne Slicer to work at its best, but other than that it works like magic. Of course, my Cuisinart stand mixer will also julienne, as will my oversized Saladmaster manual stand mixer, but when you're cooking for two, who wants to fiddle with one of these appliances when this appliance is so much quicker to set up (no) and quicker and easier too to clean (running water)? I almost didn't buy it because I DON'T NEED any other kitchen tool, but I'm glad I did. I am a very happy customer!
