Well I expected more for the price. Fairly cheaply made, I hate the metal pins on the back that need to be bent, they're just begging to be broken when I change the image in them again. Plexiglas doesn't scratch as noted by several reviewers, there is a film on either side that needs to be removed. The way my photo looked against the matte white monochrome matte finish almost convinced me to return it, but the other black and white photo I used looked good enough not to mess with the return. It says "hardwood," but it's a plastic-feeling wood that seems to grow at Walmart and other places that specialize in Chinese-made junk. The wood is about 1 inch wide and about 5/8 inch thick.
