The most important thing to know when installing these cartridges is that you actually need them if you think you'll damage the printer while You try to remove it to turn it sideways to pull it out. To clarify, if you look at an HP cartridge you will see a small spring mechanism on the right side as you insert it into the printer. However, these Aztech cartridges do not have this, they are stationary. So when you take it out, it comes out different than an HP cartridge. Just pull it out further to the left and it will come out easily and you won't break it if you pull it out that way. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out straight. Think carefully and don't use a hammer or screwdriver to break it. Hope this helps =)
