Very solid knife for the price
I bough this for a friend of mine for a Christmas present, she was previously using some serrated crap from ikea.The knife came sharp, and from what she has said holds an edge well, at least compared to her prior knife set.The blade pattern is very pretty.
The only contention point I could see with this knife is that the handle is pretty big, and the knife is reasonably heavy.The decorative pins don't actually go though the tang, but I don't believe that will effect the long term durability.

- The 8.5-inch blade might be too large for some individuals to use comfortably
