I bought this mouse to replace the MX2. The mouse is beautiful and fulfills all the specified functions. It feels very durable and looks good. My big issue with this is that it felt uncomfortable in my hand after a few minutes of use. I ignored this feeling because I thought it would go away (just like when I first started using the MX 2 mouse) but it doesn't and if I use the mouse for more than a few minutes there is a dull ache. My arm and wrist hurt just below my thumb. I understand that the new changes will benefit many users; however, they didn't work for me. The new mouse contour makes most things feel a little off. It's just inconvenient to scroll now. Also, I don't understand the hype surrounding the new scroll wheel as it doesn't appear to be any better than the MX 2. I dare say... it actually seems worse. buttons should work. However, they don't and I feel uncomfortable trying to use these features. Maybe this new shape and updates won't work for me due to my hand size (XL). But in any case, I was ready to love this mouse. I can't because it hurts. I'm sending it back and I'm happy to stick with my MX 2.
