I bought these and forks for my son's prom in 2018. use them. I liked the idea of not using single-use plastic utensils. One pair had a splinter sticking out, but overall they're sleek and easy to use. There's a slight aftertaste, like the little wooden spoons that come with ice cream cones, but not enough to spoil the taste of the food. The guests of our party liked the idea of their environmental friendliness. They are very easily biodegradable. I used some to dig holes in the flower pot on my father's grave and the soil was very wet after the rain. These spoons quickly began to fall apart. 😬 They didn't cost much more than plastic cutlery, so it was worth having a more sustainable option.
