First I will start with what I liked.1. It is very easy to use and change out the tips2. The price is right if you are interested in trying wood burning but not sure if you want to fully invest3. Comes with lots of different tips to try and use4. I like that it comes with wood pieces to get you startedDislikes1. The handle in proportion to the tip for me, was difficult to use for precision. Especially for writing, it felt awkward to hold it so far away from the tip to actually write decent.2. Heat setting doesn’t go high enough/ you have to use the highest heat setting to actually make a decent design.3. The handle gets hot after a few minutes. I had to turn it off for a minute before I could use it again.4. Stencils are ok quality.If you’re like me and are just trying to find a hobby you enjoy but not want to spend too much if you hate it or decide it’s not you’re thing then you’re only out $36. The overall quality is meh… but you get what you pay for.
