Much better than I expected. It's small, light weight, very easy to use and has amazing sound quality. The microphone is very sensitive and picks up noise very well. The built-in speaker is suitable for viewing your recordings. However, if you want to analyze or listen to clear sound, you need to use an external speaker. Looks very cool, love this design, the design is way better than most if not all Olympus models. And it works fast, save or delete a record, everything is done almost instantly. The manual is detailed. Well written and the instructions are easy to understand. Now for the cons: This is a REALLY old model. "The labels on the screen" are strange, they look like a mixture of letters and numbers. and other strange characters. VERY difficult to read, you have to skim the manual to understand it. Headphones can only play sound from one side, not both. No direct transfer of recordings to a computer or anywhere else. But with a little research and some cheap cables, you can solve this problem and easily transfer files to your computer. In addition, this is a really high-quality audio recorder. It's not perfect but I really like it, I use it for EVP sessions and ITC research, for me it works better than most expensive recorders so I give it 5 stars.
