Just what I needed. I am a new DTV customer and needed a backlit remote control for my bedroom. That works great. One major problem with these remote controls (INCLUDING THOSE SUPPLIED BY AT&T/DIRECTV) is that they do not control the on/off functions of a separate audio receiver). Basically you have to switch the power on or off either manually or with the separate remote control of the audio receiver. When the audio receiver is on, you can adjust the volume with the ATT/Directv remote control. This is a design issue on the part of ATT/Directv. I gave this product 5 stars because it works exactly as it should. No complaints.
