My 2 year old was introduced to the sleeping bag concept and he talks about it all the time. Anything she thinks fits becomes a sleeping bag - duffel bags, pillowcases, laundry baskets - you name it. So I bought this for her so I could get my pillowcases back lol. She loves it very much and I love that it has an open bottom so she can easily get in and out on her own. We are planning to take her camping this summer and she will take advantage of it. I will bring a larger blanket to cover her as she sleeps unsteadily and I believe the attached blanket will be removed in no time. Part of the duvet is quite thin - great for chilly summer nights but probably not enough for cold nights. I understand this is a sleeping mat and not camping gear so I don't see this as a downside. The design is adorable and the inside of the duvet is incredibly soft. It is also easy to roll up and fasten. I definitely recommend it.
